Eucharist

Normally, a child will receive the Sacrament of Eucharist in the spring of their second grade year.  The reception of Eucharist will be proceeded by the reception of the sacrament of Reconciliation.  As in Reconciliation, the child should be enrolled in and attend Parish School of Religion classes on a regular basis or be enrolled in a Catholic School.  Parents will attend an informational session to explain the sacrament and how the family can prepare the child for the reception of the sacrament. 

Families with children who did not receive Eucharist in their 2nd grade year are asked to call the parish office to obtain the resources the child will need to receive the Sacrament.
