Parish Council of Catholic Women
All women of the parish are automatically members of the PCCW. PCCW sponsors regular events throughout the year which fosters community within the women of the parish such as wreath making, paint parties, Christmas events & morning rosaries. Community service includes providing meals for Rare Breed. Each year, PCCW helps to coordinate the parish garage sale. Email Regina Nixon for information on the many areas of work and community that our parish women are involved in! rnixonrn@yahoo.com
St. Martha’s Group meets the first Wednesday of each month, Sept.-May for 8:30 Mass and meeting at 9:15. (June-August, 8:30 Mass and breakfast). The group plans the Women’s Morning of Reflection in January and a weekend retreat at King’s House in the spring. They help at Crosslines on the 4th Tuesday. They plan the Parish Bazaar, assist at PCCW receptions and support the newly widowed in the parish. On the second Saturday of the month they provide and serve lunch at Harmony House. Each year a spiritual book is chosen to be read and discussed at each meeting.
