Short History

*Msgr Westhues renovated the organ in his time as pastor

*Fr. Reidy considered renovation in 1990 for 59,500

*In 2000 David Nace, Ken Pesek, Helen Howard and Jim Moore began to consider options

*Committee expanded in 2001 to include Yvonne Bussmann, Greg MacLean, George Johnson, Peggy Kubicek, Judy Rippee.

*In 2001 made two trips to Omaha area to listen to pipe organ built and installed by Casavant.

*Yvonne Bussmann hosted a fund raiser at her home in June of 2002 which was attended by Bishop Leibreicht

*Signed a contract with Casavant in the fall of 2002

*St. Agnes Hosted a Winter Concert to benefit the organ project in January of 2003

* Casavant Organ opus #3841 arrived St. Agnes January 2005

* New Organ dedicated on March 6, 2005

*Dedication Concert, April 17, 2005
